Slow Cooker Garlic and Herb Chicken Drumsticks

Slow Cooker Garlic and Herb Chicken Drumsticks
(Serves 4)

3 pounds chicken drumsticks
3 TBS olive oil
10 garlic cloves, peeled but whole
3 TBS fresh favorite herbs, chopped (I used rosemary, oregano, lemon thyme, basil, and chives.)
Salt
Pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth

The night before you want to make this, place the first 6 ingredients in a large plastic storage bag.
Seal the bag and mix around the ingredients from the outside of the bag until all chicken is evenly covered.
Place the bag in the refrigerator to marinate.
The next morning, simply dump all of the contents of your bag into your slow cooker.
Add in the chicken broth.
Set your slow cooker on low for 5 hours.
When you are ready to eat, carefully remove the chicken and place into a serving bowl. I like to use a pair of tongs and grab each drumstick by the tip because the meat will want to fall off of the bones (but that is never a bad thing).

*If you forgot to marinate overnight, you can still make this on the day you need it by following the same steps except for the refrigeration part. It won't have the same depth of flavor, but it will still work.
